Q: Where are you from?
A: I have lived all over the South! My parents are in commercial development, so I've lived in Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma, and even Las Vegas. Even so, I still claim Conway, AR as my home. I really liked moving every few years because I got to see a bunch of new places. Now I absolutely love to travel and see all the sights!
Q: What did you study in college? Why did you choose that degree?
A: After trying three other majors, I decided to study Business Administration and Marketing because I thought it was the best place for me to be creative, and I always viewed business as the window to the world. I received my Bachelors of Business Administration in 2007, and I think it taught me how to be professional and how to work with a variety of people.
Q: What is your favorite place on campus? Why?
A: My favorite place on campus is Estes Stadium. I absolutely LOVE football season, and every time I've been to a football game the school spirit has been AMAZING! The students are out of control and full of pride for the Bears and Sugar Bears. They obviously love their school and sports teams, and that makes me excited to be there with them!
Q: What do you like to do in Conway?
A: I love to try new restaurants and go to the movies. What can I say? I love food! Conway has so many places to eat and to go out with your friends. I hardly ever eat at the same restaurants because there are so many places from which to choose, and there are two different movie theaters. It so nice to be in a large college town where there is always something to do.
Q: What parts of admissions counseling do you enjoy?
A: I really enjoy seeing all of the new faces coming to join the UCA Bear Community. New students are always so excited about where they are going to live, their classes, and starting a new chapter in their lives! It's exciting to help them get on the right path and make the right decisions about their college career. Helping prospective and new students is such a rewarding experience. Admissions counselors always have smiles on their faces!
