Non-Degree Seeking- Applicants
attending the University of Central Arkansas on a special or transient
student status are classified as special, non-degree seeking students. See
requirements and topics of interest below.
Requirements:
1)Undergraduate Application
for Admission
2) Letter of Good Standing,
including GPA, from current or last institution attended.
3) A cumulative 2.0 GPA
required for admittance.
Senior Citizen Student (Age 60
and over)

Those applicants, who are
non-degree seeking and not taking classes through Academic Outreach, will
go through the Office of Admissions. You will need to complete an
application for admission on our website.
Those applicants, who are
degree seeking and not taking classes through Academic Outreach, will go
through the Office of Admissions. You will need to complete an application
for admission on our website. We will also need transcripts from the
colleges or universities you attended since high school. If you already
have a Baccalaureate, Masters, or Doctoral degree, we will only need a
transcript from the institution where you received that degree.
UCA offers an “Over 60
Scholarship” which takes care of your cost. After you enroll in classes,
provide a copy of your driver’s license and birth certificate to the UCA
Office of Student Accounts.
