UCA Alumni Association

 

 

Mission:
To maintain more intimate relations between the University of Central Arkansas and its graduates and former students; to maintain a medium of dissemination of information; to promote the general welfare of the University and its alumni; and to further provide a medium for the promotion of public education in the  State of Arkansas.

This crest of the University of Central Arkansas Alumni Association depicts the principles held fast and true by thousands of graduates and former students.

The oak tree, of which there are many on campus, represents great age and continuous growth.

Strength and justice are illustrated by the institution's mascot, the Bear, on a field of royal  purple.

The colors green and garnet reflect loyalty, hope and loftiness of spirit. Just as we are bound by a strong and lasting friendship, ivy embraces the shield and unifies our diversity to form a coat of arms rich in tradition and of solid character.
