CREDIT COURSES

Off-Campus Classes. Graduate and undergraduate university classes are taught each semester at various locations throughout the state. Classes may be for degree credit or non-degree professional development credit. Grant-funded classes are also offered through the Division of Continuing Education. Tuition and some expenses of the course maybe subsidized by the grant.

Off-Campus Classes may include: Biology, Business, Childcare, Administration and Secondary Education, Childhood Education, Special Education, Educational Media & Library Science, English, Family & Consumer Science, Geography, Health Education, Mathematics, Music, and Nursing.

Extended Learning is a flexible delivery system which allows students to create their own learning environment by choosing the place and setting the pace for course completion.

  • Coursework may be started at any time since offerings are not limited by the semester schedule.
  • Most courses have 24 lessons.
  • A final exam is required which may be taken in the students local area at a regionally accredited college or university or an extension of such.

    Courses are available through extended study in the areas of Business, Education, English, Geography, German, History, Family and Consumer Science, Mathematics, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology.  Web-based personal, professional development and certificate courses are available for non-credit.
