about NCAD
Established in 1941 by Schiller Scroggs and Henry Bennett of Oklahoma State University, the National Conference of Academic Deans is the nation's oldest organization with programming focused on the deanship. The conference continues to the present time as a model of effective low-key organization, a refreshing departure from the crammed schedule of packaged seminars as well as the daily routine of the typical campus administrator. At the NCAD Annual Conference you will always find excellent programs supplemented by valuable corridor conversations with colleagues. Time is also set aside for taking in the regional specialties of the host city.
