The Windgate Scholarship is specifically for incoming freshmen students.  The Scholarship is based on creative talent and financial need and can be worth up to $5,000 per semester for eight semesters.  To be eligible, students must return a completed application form with requested materials, plan to declare art as their major, and attend UCA in the fall 2012 semester.  As noted on the form, the deadline for mailing the application materials is March 16, and the deadline for submission of FAFSA information is March 2.
