- The Arkansas Community Development Society has announced a scholarship for CDI 2010. The scholarship application is due July 26.

- CDI Staff will be speaking at the 1st Annual Small City Economic Leadership Empowerment Summit in Pine Bluff, Arkansas on Friday, June 11.
- CDI Director Kelly Lyon will speak to the Cornerstone Coalition's Leadership Class on Tuesday, June 15th in Hamburg, Arkansas.
- UCA’s Community Development Institute (CDI) Central, located in the Division of Academic Outreach (AOEP), has been selected to receive the award for Recognition of Excellence for Innovations in Outreach and Engagement, awarded by the University Continuing Education Association (UCEA). UCEA is the national organization that supports outreach divisions. This award recognizes creativity and innovation in the field, and will be presented at the UCEA Annual Conference on April 18th, in San Francisco, California.
