Advanced Year
Each year the Advanced Year program features a “real world,” hands-on exercise, such as community assessments and strategic goal-setting, in a selected community. The 2009 class was guided by nationally known community development consultant Dr. David Kolzow, President of Team Kolzow, Inc., a Franklin, TN based consulting firm that provides a wide range of economic and community development training and consulting services. Dr. Kolzow has over 30 years experience in strategic planning for states, regions, communities, and development organizations.Participation in the Advanced Year class is open to any individual who has previously completed the CDI three year program, regardless of when it was completed.
