Advanced Year

This year’s Advanced Year Program will feature a “real world” exercise to perform a hands-on community assessment and develop effective and implementable strategies for community and economic development. Participants will travel with nationally known community development expert, Dr. David Kolzow, to a nearby community to conduct a SWOT analysis, facilitate visioning, and provide strategic action recommendations. Dr. David Kolzow is President of Team Kolzow, Inc., a Franklin TN based consulting firm that provides a wide range of economic and community development training and consulting services. Dr. Kolzow has over 30 years experience in strategic planning for states, regions, communities, and development organizations.
