Cherish the Ladies

September 26-27
Cherish the Ladies is one of the "hottest" Irish bands touring today. This all-female group of extraordinary musicians along with two Irish step dancers present a public performance in the Reynolds Performance Hall before embarking on two days of lectures, demonstrations, and a High Table for the Honors College.

Paul Hillier

October 16-19
Paul Hillier. world-class vocal conductor who sang with the Queen's Chapel Royal at Windsor Castle and was co-founder of the Hilliard Ensemble, is in residence to rehearse the UCA choir on selections that are performed on a program featuring Hillier's own Theatre of Voices ensemble.

Eric Bogosian

November 5-6
Eric Bogosian, Obie and Drama Desk award-winning playwright (Talk Radio), novelist (Mall) and film/TV actor (Under Siege 2, Deconstructing Harry, Blonde, Law and Order, Miami Vice), will present his one-man show "The Worst of Eric Bogosian" and teach in creative writing and theatre classes.

 

The Acting Company

January 30-31
The Acting Company, New York City's renowned touring company, present their production of William Shakespeare's Taming of the Shrew as prelude to two days of master classes for UCA theatre students in Acting Shakespeare, Stage Combat, Masks, and Physical Comedy.

Brett Lott

February 21-22
Brett Lott is the author of five novels and numerable short stories. His novels include The Many Who Owned Vermont, A Stranger's House and Jewel (an Oprah Book Club selection). His five-day residency includes a public reading, a lecture to the fiction workshop, a High Table for the Honors College and one-on-one work with UCA students.
