Bryan W. Massey, Sr. is a sculptor and designer primarily using stone as his choice of medium. The stones rage from alabaster, soapstone, limestone, marble, and granite. He also casts in iron, bronze, and aluminum as well as steel fabrication. He began his career working figuratively, but now he works both figuratively and abstractly. He has been influenced by such artist as Henry Moore, Isamu Noguchi, and Constantine Brancusi. His most recent commissioned bronze sculpture can be viewed on site at the Sidney S. McMath Library on John Barrow Road in Little Rock, AR. |
