Gallery Information

Hours:
The Baum Gallery is open Monday-Friday 10 am - 5 pm, Thursday 10 am - 7 pm, and on Sunday 1-5 pm. Weekday opening receptions are held on designated Thursdays from 4-6pm. Weekend receptions are held on designated Sundays from 2-4pm. Additional events are publicized individually. All events are free. The public is invited.

Directions:
The Baum Gallery is located in the west wing of McCastlain Hall on the University of Central Arkansas campus in Conway . From Little Rock I-40 West: take the first Conway exit (129B), turn left over the overpass, continuing on Hwy 286/Dave Ward Drive. At the third stoplight, turn right onto Donaghey Avenue . Parking lots are on your left behind (south of) Wingo Hall: visitor parking spaces are marked in blue or purple. Follow the yellow and purple gallery banners to the front of McCastlain Hall: the sidewalk and doorways are handicapped-accessible.

Inclement Weather:
If UCA cancels classes due to inclement weather or closes campus, the Baum Gallery will also close. To find out if UCA has been closed, call the Inclement Weather/Class Status Line at (501) 450-5000.

Artist Submissions: 
Unsolicited artists submissions must include: 12-20 images, curriculum vitae or artist’s resume, artist statement relevant to the submitted work, and a cover letter or email with contact information (if sent by mail, include a SASE for return of materials).

Appraisals/Authentications:
The Baum Gallery of Fine Art as an institution cannot perform appraisals or authentications of any works of art.  Contact Appraisers Association of America for guidelines and state searches at www.appraisersassoc.org, or find general information and web links for appraisals on the Smithsonian American Art Museum website.
