Office of the Dean

Welcome to the web-site for the College of Fine Arts and Communication!  As you review information about our departments and programs, you will see that we have excellent faculty and expansive degree offerings.  Many of our programs are among the best in the nation and have achieved international recognition.  As one of the few colleges of fine arts and communication in the region, we offer specialized training in one's own disciplines as well as encouraging involvement with students and programs from other disciplines within the College.

Rollin R. Potter, Dean

A very special role for the College is our presentation of performances by eminent musicians, outstanding film and theatrical productions, and readings by distinguished authors and writers.  The lives of our students and campus are enriched frequently by the many opportunities made available in the form of contact and learning experiences with these internationally recognized professionals.

I hope that you will plan to visit our campus, tour our facilities, and meet with us.  Our new state-of the art buildings include a beautiful new performance hall, an attractive and spacious new building dedicated solely to writing and speech programs, and high tech mass communication studios, all of which place our programs in some of the best facilities in the nation.  I know that you will be impressed with what you see and hear on our campus.

Please do not hesitate to contact us to learn about the many exciting opportunities available at UCA and in the College of Fine Arts and Communication.  We look forward to hearing from you!
