Vortex is the literary and art magazine of the University of Central Arkansas, published once a year in the spring semester.  Vortex is run for, with, and by UCA students who comprise the editorial staff and make all editorial decisions.

Vortex accepts work in a wide range of literary genres: poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction, stage plays, and screenplays.  It also publishes photographs as well as photographic representations of student artwork (drawings, paintings, sculptures).

CONTACT INFO: The 2004/2005 head editor is Amber Phousongphouang. You may email her with questions at: webmaster@phousongphouang.com.

SUBMISSIONS DEADLINE:  The deadline for the 2004/2005 issue is December 1, 2004.
