The Department of Mass Communication and
Theatre offers programs that combine art and technology
in four areas of emphasis: digital
filmmaking, journalism,
television, and theatre. The faculty includes both internationally
acclaimed scholars and award-winning artists. They are supported
by state-of-the-art technology and studio facilities. Students
produce a newspaper and yearbook, operate a television station,
and create motion pictures and stage plays. Graduates can
expect to find employment in motion picture, television,
newspaper and magazine industries, in theatrical production,
and in corporate, medical, police, and military communication.
