Broadcast Journalism Degree Requirements
UCA students earn either a Bachelor of Arts
or Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communication with
an emphasis in Broadcast Journalism. The program focuses on the production
studio where classroom knowledge is applied in hands-on
training and experience. "Real world" internships
complete the program and prepare students for careers in
the vibrant television industry. These degrees require completion
of 124 hours including 1)the general education component,
2)specific degree requirements, 3)a major as described below,
and 4)a minor as arranged through the student's minor advisor.
