Suzanne Banister,
soprano, is a native of Southwest Louisiana. She holds
degrees in Vocal Performance from Louisiana College
and Loyola University at New Orleans. Ms. Banister
is a long time member of National Association of Teachers
of Singing and has consistently had top winners at
NATS annual voice competitions on the state and regional
levels. As a soloist, Ms. Banister has performed extensively
with the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and the Fort
Smith Symphony Orchestra. She has also performed with
the Lake Charles Messiah Orchestra, the Pine Bluff
Symphony Orchestra, the Conway Symphony Orchestra,
Opera Theatre at Wildwood, Memphis Vocal Arts Ensemble,
New Orleans Opera, the South Arkansas Symphony Orchestra
and the Arkansas Reperatory Theatre. She is a past
winner of the Met Auditions for Arkansas and has sung
as soloist at the Governor's Mansion.
