Music Library
The
Music Collection/Listening Lab is located on
the first floor in the Torreyson
Library. It holds a large volume of materials
in both print and audio formats. The Music Collection includes
scores, collected works of composers, biographies about
composers and performing artists, and "how to"
books about music. Faculty and students can check out these
materials.
The music listening facilities house 15 listening carrels
with CD, DVD, LD, and LP formats for in-house student listening.
This facility also archives all of the recital recordings
for the Snow Fine Arts Music Department. Only faculty and
staff can check these materials out of the building.
The Music Collection also houses Music Reference materials
for general research purposes and provides music reserve
services for faculty and their classes.
