BAND - CHOIR - KEYBOARD - ORCHESTRA

The University of Central Arkansas Department of Music offers scholarships for talented students in the vocal and instrumental areas.  Eligibility is based on academic achievements and musical abilities.  The following days are set aside for in-person auditions for undergraduate music scholarships.  Appointments are available beginning at 2:00 p.m. on the following days:

Voice Auditions will be on November 18, 2005, January 27, 2006, and March 3, 2006
Strings, instrumental, and keyboard will be on December 2, 2005, January 27, 2006, and March 3, 2006

To make an appointment for a voice or string audition, call Mrs. Kathy Felkins at (501) 450-5750.  To make an appointment for instrumental (band), call Dr. Ricky Brooks, Director of Bands, at (501) 450-5764.  To make a keyboard audition, call Dr. Neil Rutman, Artist-in-Residence, at (501) 450-5767.  To make a concert choir audition, call Mr. John Erwin, Director of Choral Activities, at (501) 450-5757.  Complete the scholarship application form found below.  You may bring it with you the day of the audition, but it is preferred we receive it at least two weeks before your audition date.

If you cannot attend on one of these dates, you should email your intended major professor (the teacher of your instrument or voice) to make an alternative appointment.  Click here for faculty directory.
