Wolfgang Oeste, tenor, was born in Kassel Germany, and immigrated to Canada. After receiving a BA in Psychology from the University of Winnipeg and a Teaching Certificate in Music from the University of Manitoba, he attended the University of Toronto Opera School, where he also appeared with the Canadian Opera Company. He then returned to Europe and for the next ten years was engaged as leading tenor in numerous professional opera houses and concert halls throughout Europe. Upon his return to America, he earned his MM and DMA degrees from Northwestern University. He is an Associate Professor of Voice at UCA and the Director of Opera Workshop.
