Of our freshmen who lived off-campus last year, 42% lived with their parents.  An additional 12% lived with other immediate family members.  For commuter freshmen, living with (and continuing to depend on) family members presents its own set of challenges and benefits. 

In order to promote involvement from parents who are located near the university, we are currently forming a Parent Advisory Council.  This group will make suggestions to UCA Administration based on their experiences and ultimately help us to improve the resources we make available to our SaM students!
