A Note on Evolving Assessment Plans
The library of assessment plans will continue to evolve as the UCA Assessment Initiatives progress. In viewing the plans in our on-line library, please keep in mind two observations:
- An assessment plan is never really final: it is always subject to revision as a department or program implements it; indeed, we expect a program to implement its assessment plan critically--with an eye to what works, what does not work, and what might work better--and to make changes as changes make sense.
- The procedures and criteria you will see in these plans vary considerably, reflecting each department's sense of its own nature, needs, intentions, and capabilities.
