Linda Musselman, PhD, OTR, FAOTA

Dr. Musselman has practiced in occupational therapy for over 25 years in 6 states, and has worked in long term care, physical rehabilitation, acute care, public schools as well as higher education. She teaches Introduction to Research, Health Care Administration,  Research I, and assists in the coordination of fieldwork experiences. Research interests: Fieldwork, fiscal issues in fieldwork, biomechanics.

Catherine Acre, EdD, OTR

Dr. Acre has provided occupational therapy services for over 17 years, and has taught at UCA for 11 years. Her practice has focused on providing mental health services and services to the elderly. She continues her professional involvement in the VSA Arts program as a board member for a program for developmentally disabled children and adults, and as a consultant to long term care facilities for the elderly. She teaches Clinical Psychiatry, Evaluation and Treatment in Mental Health I & II, and Clinical Reasoning and graduate electives. Research interests include: geriatrics, cognition, artistic expression as a therapeutic media.

Lorrie George, PhD,  OTR, BCN

Dr. Lorrie George has practiced in occupational therapy for 24 years and she has been an instructor of occupational therapy at UCA for the past 14 years. Her primary clinical practice has been in the area of physical disabilities, where she has provided services in rehabilitative and acute care settings. Dr. George continues to be clinically involved by providing direct and consultative services in rehabilitation and assistive technology. Dr. George instructs Evaluation and Treatment in Physical Dysfunction I & II, Assistive Technology, and Advanced Practice with Spinal Cord Injuries. Research interests include: Assistive Technology, Occupational Adaptation, and instrument development for assessing occupational adaptation/ performance.

Cynthia Cole, MS

Mrs. Cole's educational background is in social work and health science education. Prior to her coming to UCA, she worked both as an educator and social worker, but more recently provided advisement for students aspiring to health careers. Since 1993 she has been the Program Advisor for the Occupational Therapy Department, and has also assisted with the coordination of Level II fieldwork experiences. Mrs. Cole will be teaching Survey of Health Sciences and Group Process. In addition she will serve as the fieldwork coordinator.

Jennifer Johnson, PhD, OTR

Dr. Johnson has practiced as an occupational therapist for 16 years, 7 of those years an an instructor at UCA. She has treated clients and coordinated student supervision in acute care, focusing services on the wide variety of diagnoses found in acute care settings. In addition she developed and implemented a work injury rehabilitation program. She is actively involved as co-coordinator of the VSA Arkansas and the Acting Creates Therapeutic Success (ACTS) Program and in providing program consultation at Bethlehem House Homeless Shelter. Dr. Johnson teaches Foundations in Occupational Therapy, Occupational Therapy in the Community, and Research I. Research interests include: currently engaged in doctoral research in the area of services to homeless individuals.

Tina Mankey, MS, OTR

Mrs. Mankey has extensive experience in providing services to children through the public schools and day programs. She has 14 years of occupational therapy practice experience, and has taught at UCA for 4 years. In addition to her teaching responsibilities, she provides direct care and consultation occupational therapy services in the community. Mrs. Mankey teaches Human Development I & II, Evaluation and treatment in Pediatrics, and Occupational Therapy in the Public Schools. Research interests include: pediatrics, and research associated with her doctoral program in higher education.

Marc Willey, PhD, OTR

Dr. Willey has 16 years practice experience as an occupational therapist, eight of them in OT education. He taught at the University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio before coming to UCA seven year ago. Dr. Willey's primary practice interest has been in hand rehabilitation, which he has practiced in the United States and Europe. He also has worked with pediatric clients, providing consultation services in public schools, and direct services in medical settings. He continues a clinical practice in these areas, in addition to teaching duties. Dr. Willey teaches Clinical Conditions I & II, Functional Kinesiology, Clinical Reasoning, and Advanced Practice in Physical Disabilities. Research interests include: Biomechanics in lifting, biomechanics of functional activities in the upper extremity, hand splinting
