Welcome Message from Carolyn Kelley

This year's Junior University will be held on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas from June 11 through June 15, 2006. Parents will be arriving between 4:00 and 5:00 on Sunday to check in their children for a week full of activities and life-changing experiences. From the beginning of the Sunday dinner hour at 5:00 to the ending graduation on Thursday evening, students will be treated to outstanding classes taught by UCA professors, team building games, swimming, a field trip to the Planetarium, and various activities to help them make new friends.

I, along with Pulaski County Special School District's JU Coordinator Ann Adams, am very excited about meeting our parents and new Junior University students from the Pulaski County Special School and Mayflower Districts this May. We are once again fortunate to have excellent public school teachers and UCA students who will serve as Junior University counselors again this year.
