Introduction

Thinking of buying an automobile?  Researching and comprehending the terminology of the insurance industry will help you to purchase the automobile insurance for beginning drivers.  As a high risk driver, homework is essential!  

 

Task

You will need to research and demonstrate the correct use of terminology related to auto insurance in order to be able to purchase a policy and comprehend the coverage needed for beginning drivers. Students will compare and contrast in a five essay research paper, including pricing for specific automobiles.

Your Insurance Terminology Unit will be graded according to the following rubric:

Worksheets = 300 points

Written Presentation = 200 points

Total project = 500 points

Conclusion

After completion of this project the student will be able to identify the process involved in purchasing automobile insurance.  The students will identify appropriate choices using consumer related information.  They will compare and contrast insurance coverage and prices available for specific automobiles.
