MASTER'S OF SCIENCE IN
TRAINING SYSTEMS
The College of Education at the University of Central Arkansas is proud to announce a new professional degree program:
Master's of Science in Training Systems.
The MS in Training Systems features a common core with four specialized tracks
meeting the needs of four distinct populations: business and marketing teachers, adult education teachers, trainers in the
corporate world, and technologists in the corporate and education areas.
The Master of Science in Training Systems is a 36-hour graduate credit program organized around six three-hour courses. Each track has curriculum requirements beyond the
core curriculum. Graduate candidates are also offered a selection of electives for each specific track.
Track I
focuses on those wishing to receive a masters degree with emphasis in business/marketing education. This new degree replaces the
Masters of Science and Education in Business/Marketing Education.
Track II focuses on adult education is intended for those who whish to work toward licensure in adult education.
Track III focuses on training and development needs of business and industry. This program provides a combination of techniques and computer technology.
Track IV focuses on technology specialist for education and training and development. The curriculum reflects the need for specialized courses in technology to meet workforce-education institution requirements.
Admission into the University of Central Arkansas Graduate Studies program
will be required before enrolling in courses. Students must have an undergraduate degree, GRE scores on file with the
Graduate Office before admission, and a minimum of 2.7 GPA in undergraduate work.
