MESSAGE FROM THE GRADUATE DEAN

I am proud to have served as the Graduate Dean of the University of Central Arkansas since 1995. The institution has a proud history of serving the state since 1907, when it was established as the Arkansas State Normal School. Graduate studies in education were added in 1955. We have grown to 45 program options and 12 different degree designations including the Ph.D. and DPT degrees. We serve more than 2,000 graduate students with approximately 250 graduate faculty and award 400 graduate degrees each year.

The mission of this institution directs us to maintain the highest academic quality and assure that the curriculum remains current and responsive to the needs of those we serve.
