RESEARCH  COMMITTEE

Duties:

Review faculty research proposals to be funded by the university and make recommendations to the University Research Council. The chair of this committee serves on the University Research Council.

Composition:

Seven (7) members, one elected from each department, to serve three-year staggered terms, plus a chair appointed by the dean.

Appointments should adhere to the following restrictions:

1) One member from each department

2) No more than two department chairs

3) A chair appointed by the dean from the committee membership for a two-year term
