Graduate Assistantship 

 

The Graduate Assistantship stipend pays $2,500 per semester (excluding summers), plus an in-state tuition scholarship for up to nine hours (in-state tuition only).  Student pays out-of-state tuition (if applicable*) and all fees.  The Graduate Assistantship is renewable up to 3 semesters with satisfactory grades and work performance.  

 

To qualify for the Graduate Assistantship, a student recipient is required to meet the following criteria:

 

  1. Must be enrolled in nine to twelve semester hours.

  2. Work 20 hours per week for the department(s) which he/she is assigned.

DEADLINE:   July 1st for Fall Semester

                         November 1st for Spring Semester

Dean, College of Business / MBA Director

Reports to Dean and/or MBA Director to assist in administrative tasks such as, advising students, maintaining data bases, performing research, and recruiting.

Associate Dean, College of Business

Reports to the Associate Dean.  Assists in administrative tasks such as maintaining data bases, performing research, and internal assessment.

MBA Director

Reports to MBA Director to assist in administrative tasks such as, advising students, maintaining data bases, performing research and recruiting.  Must be able to multitask.  Must be proficient in Word and Excel.  Knowledge in FrontPage is a plus.  

Internship Program Reports to Dr. Victor Puleo.  Assist faculty in administrative tasks.

Department of Economics, Finance, Insurance & Risk Management (EFIRM) & Department of Marketing/ Management

Reports to Chair of EFIRM and to Chair of MKTG/MGMT.  Assist faculty with research projects.

Department of Accounting & Department of Management Information Systems

Reports to Chair of ACCOUNTING and Chair of MIS.  Assist faculty with research projects.
