The Major and Minor in Philosophy

The major in Philosophy is excellent intellectual training for practically anything. Philosophy majors do better than any other liberal arts major on the LSAT, and exceptionally well on the GRE and the GMAT as well. Philosophy study trains you in rigorous critical and analytical skills, which are useful in any field. Also, philosophy helps you understand your life and the world in more meaningful ways. As Socrates once put it, "The unexamined life is not worth living."
