Dr. Joseph Yuichi Howard
Research Topics:
Dr. Howard’s research interests
concern the fields of public policy, American politics, and research
methodology. Current research efforts are focused on educational policy
reform with particular interests in the policy diffusion of charter
school legislation and examining the impact of school programs on
college attendance rates of minority students. Other areas of interest
include the role of gender in voting behavior and the influence of
constituents on the roll call behavior of members of Congress.
