Membership and Dues

Membership Eligibility

     Any college or university student, graduate or undergraduate, not yet eligible for membership in the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association interested in the study of normal and disordered human communication behavior, shall be eligible for membership in UCA’s NSSLHA Chapter.

Membership Application Form

     For each year of membership, The Membership Application Form should be completed by the student seeking membership; and, it should then be submitted to the NSSLHA Treasurer, Callie Walker, along with dues. Please submit the form to Callie by placing it in her box, which is located in the therapy hallway on the west side of the building.

     A hard copy of the Membership Application Form can be found on the shelf located in the east hallway, in between Dr. Logan and Ms. Moore’s offices.

Member Privileges

    A member of the local chapter shall be eligible to vote, to hold office, and to serve on committees.

 Dues

     Annual dues for members shall be determined by the membership.

     Dues are to be submitted to the NSSLHA Treasurer, Callie Walker, along with the Membership Application Form. Please submit dues to Callie by placing them in her box, which, again, is located in the therapy hallway on the west side of the building.

     The 2007-2008 dues are $16.⁰⁰.

 When to Join?

      Students are encouraged to join at anytime throughout the school year.
