3.     Report of Subcommittee II – Lynn Burley, Chair

Chair Burley moved to recommend approval to curriculum changes in the Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences with an emphasis in Health Services Administration for HED 4370 – Administration of Health Programs from an elective to a required course. Mary Harlan seconded the motion. Discussion followed. Motion passed

11 yes (2 by absentee ballot), 1 no and 0 abstentions.

1.    HED 3315 – Theory and Practice of Prevention from a required course to an elective

2.    Deletion of Prevention Emphasis within the Bachelor of Science in Community Health

3.    HED 3302 – The Elementary School Health Program conversion of existing course to electronic delivery

4.    SOC 4342 – Stratification abbreviated course title change to "STRATIFICAT"

The Undergraduate Council meetings have been on the Faculty Senate books for some time as a set time and set date each month. There are some departments and colleges calling meetings so people are not in attendance. Please remind your colleges that you are serving the University on very important business and to please keep the meeting date open.
