a.    Change MSIT 4315 to SCI 4315
b.    Delete sociology course requirement
c.    MSIT 3320 - Introduction to Teaching at the Middle Level (new course)

2.    Proposed new program in Addiction Studies with two tracks to include seven new courses

a.    CSCI 2290 – Social Implications of Technology
b.    SPAN 2310 – Spanish Conversation and Composition I
c.    SPAN 2320 – Spanish Conversation and Composition II

2.    Add ENGL 2380 - Intro to Poetry as an option to ENGL 3370 - Into to Fiction

3.    Move MSIT 3310 to a pre-admission course

4.    Move EDUC 3309 – Cultural Perspectives: Families, School, and Community Partnerships from post admission teacher education level to pre admission level

5.    Move ECSE 3301 – Early Development and Learning from post admission teacher education level to pre admission level

Subcommittee II is asked to convene and review Middle/Secondary Education & Instructional Technologies proposals for: Change MSIT 4315 to SCI 4315; Delete sociology course requirement; MSIT 3320 - Introduction to Teaching at the Middle Level (new course), and make a recommendation.

Subcommittee III is asked to convene and review the proposals Proposed new program in Addiction Studies with two tracks to include seven new courses, and make a recommendation.
