Minutes Undergraduate Council Meeting
October 21, 2003 

The members of the Undergraduate Council met on-line for their regular October, 2003 meeting.  The following action and information items were recommended for approval. 

Action item included: 

1. MATH 4510 – Mathematics Concepts for Middle School to MATH 4335 – Mathematics Concepts for Middle School.  Proposal passed 14 yes, 0 no, 3 abstentions.

Information items included: 

1. MSIT 3320 – Introduction to Teaching at the Middle Level prerequisite change from “Admittance to Teacher Education” to “no prerequisite is required.”
2. Study Abroad/Exchange Courses – to establish a specific set of undergraduate and graduate level courses for students studying abroad through approved programs or participating in approved exchange type programs.  A possible course prefix designation is UCAS (UCA Study.)  The following is a list of proposed course levels and their credit values:
