Minutes Undergraduate Council Meeting
September 19, 2006
Members Present:
Brian Bolter, George Bratton, Lynn Burley, Lorien Foote, Richard Gaughan, Mary Harlan, Joe Horton, Chenyi Hu, Erick McCarthy, Patty Phelps, Han-Chieh Wei, Ann Witcher and Tony Sitz.
Members Absent:
Joe Anderson, Brooks Green, Jeff Whittingham and Steve Zeltmann.
The items of the agenda included:
1. Meeting was called to order at 1:40 p.m. by Dr. Sally A. Roden, Chair.
2. Dr. Mary Harlan was unanimously voted as secretary for the 2006/2007 academic year.
3. Minutes of the August 3, 2006 meeting were approved as circulated.
4. Chair Roden read the charge to the Undergraduate Council and discussed committee procedures for the 2006-2007 academic year.
5. Chair Roden welcomed the following new members to the Undergraduate Council:
Brian Bolter, Department of Psychology and Counseling
Chenyi Hu, Department of Computer Science
Information item:
UNIV 1000 - University Studies title change to University Academic Seminar.
