Division of
Undergraduate Studies
Message from the Dean
| The Division of Undergraduate Studies was
created to increase the opportunity for student
academic success. The programs developed within
the Division reflect UCA's continuing commitment
to the idea that achievement and success,
especially for first-year students, as well as
retention and overall quality of students' first
college experience, are of utmost importance.
We take very seriously the mission of increasing student academic success. Over the years we have grown from one Residential College to five Living/Learning Communities including four Residential Colleges and our Sophomore Year Experience program. The Division has also added programs like |

II to help students with past academic concerns achieve
their goals. The Academic Advising Center has just
celebrated 10 years of outstanding service to UCA
students with commendations from Arkansas' Governor and
the State Senate. Also, a member of UCA's Academic
Advising Center was recognized nationally as one of four
Outstanding Advisors by the National Academic Advising
Association. Whether you are a looking for a dynamic, fun Living/Learning Community to call home or seeking advice on class schedules or even your UCA academic scholarship, the Division of Undergraduate Studies is here to assist with your academic success. We invite and encourage everyone to participate in one of the Division's academic success programs. As always, feel free to call, e-mail, or visit on the 2nd floor of Harrin Hall if there is any way we can help you. Dr. Sally A. Roden | ||
