Actively help students to excel and persist to graduation through programs that encourage faculty to employ a variety of teaching methods, students to understand their own individual learning styles, and faculty and students t o collaborate in the search for knowledge.

Assist students in completing and understanding the importance of the general education requirements as a vehicle for mastering both trans-disciplinary skills and specific  bodies of knowledge.

Support programs that encourage both students and faculty to embrace diversity as a means to strengthen and enrich the university community and the quality of the education provided by the university.

Encourage the use of instructional technology on campus in order to provide new avenues for both solitary reflection and interactive learning.

Identify factors, through quantitative and qualitative research, that lead to student success at UCA and in the global community, and then develop campus-wide programs that promote these factors.
