Finis Origine Pendit means the end depends on the beginning. 

Over 10 years ago, we adopted this Latin phrase as the heart of our mission statement for UCA Residential Colleges.  We believe that the way in which our students begin their college education will have a direct impact on their future success as a student and a graduate.  Residential College students make better grades and graduate UCA at higher rates because they live and learn with others who also want to make the most of their first year of college.
