Financial Aid

Applying for Financial Aid

The first step in applying for financial aid is to apply for admission to UCA.

Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You may submit your application electronically via FAFSA on the WEB.  Be sure to include UCA's Title IV Code: 001092.

Once your application has been processed, you will receive an e-mail from the federal processor and we will receive an electronic version of your SAR. At this point, we will determine if we require additional documentation. You will receive a letter from our office requesting any required documents.

When your file is complete, your application will be verified or reviewed for accuracy. The verification process can take from one to two weeks, depending on the time of year. If we find errors in your application, we will correct them for you and you will receive another SAR with the new corrected information.

When the verification process is complete, your eligibility will be determined and you will be sent an Award Letter. Award letters are e-mailed to the UCA CUB Account and to the e-mail you indicated on your FAFSA.

Students who receive federal financial aid of any kind must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress.
