Baridon Hall
Baridon Hall provides a suite style, private room living environment. Baridon Hall is reserved for upperclassmen and international students.
Why Choose Baridon Hall?
Baridon Hall sponsors a number of educational and social programs. The resident assistants not only aid in day-to-day needs but offer programs to help the students in their overall development. Baridon Hall residents also support Conway through various community service opportunitites, such as Adopt-a Highway and other philanthropic events. Baridon residents are like family, supporting and befriending everyone who lives there.
What About Security?
Security is a shared responsibility between you and the University. UCA is committed to your safety and Baridon Hall will provide you with an in-hall escort policy and 24-hour access to the UCA Police Department. You should always lock your room and keep your key, not loaning it to anyone else or hiding it somewhere in the building. Report potential security problems to residence hall staff or the police.
Room Decor
Students may personalize their rooms with items from home. Many residents add carpet or rugs, posters, curtains over windows, small tables, lounge chairs, storage units, televisions, computers, stereos, and refrigerators.
Included in Each Room
2 beds, desks with chair, chest of drawers, two loveseats, and closets. All furniture is movable. Cable TV service, internet access, and air conditioning/heating is also available.

24-hour kitchen and vending machines, wheelchair accessible, furnished lobby, landscaped courtyard, card-access system, laundry facilities, television, and multi-purpose room.

Staffing
A Residence Coordinator, who is a graduate student in the College Student Personnel Services & Administration masters program, lives in an apartment within the building and manages the Hall.
A Resident Assistant, who is an upperclass undergraduate student, lives on each floor. He or she will help the Residence Coordinator with administrative concerns, resolving conflicts, responding to crisis, enforcing University policies and helping residents with personal problems.
The front desk is staffed by Hall Assistants, who are undergraduate students, during the day and visitation hours. They monitor the lobby, act as a resource person, and serve as a receptionist.
Custodians clean common areas daily between 7:30am to 4:00pm, Monday through Friday.
The maintenance staff repairs routine problems from 8:00am to 4:45pm and is on call for emergencies.
How to Apply to Baridon Hall?
You must first complete an application for housing and make a $100 housing deposit with the Department of Housing and Residence Life. The sooner this is done, the better the chances we have to accommodate your requests.
