The Following Scholarships Are Available Through The University of Central Arkansas Foundation

Applications can be picked up from Susan Suits' desk or can be downloaded by clicking on the appropriate scholarship below. APPLICATION DEADLINE for all scholarships is April 1. APPLICATIONS are to be submitted to Susan Suits in the Department of Early Chldhood and Special Education, Mashburn Suite 150. Awards will be made by April 15th.

    1. THE MIGNON NEWBERN SCHOLARSHIP

SPRING 2011 AWARD: $2000.00 ($1000 per semester will be awarded.)

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA: Female student fully admitted to the undergraduate P-4 program.  Selection is based on academic performance.

Selection is based on need and potential for teaching.

  2. The ROSE A. BERRY SCHOLARSHIP

SPRING 2011 AWARD:  To Be Determined

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA:  Admission to Undergraduate P-4 Program or Special Education program. Selection is based upon 60 hours completed at UCA with a cumulative GPA of 3.0.

    3.  Angie Passmore-Howard Memorial Scholarship

SPRING 2011 AWARD:  $500.00 per semester

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA:  Admission to a graduate or an undergraduate program in ECSE. See the form for additional criteria.

1.      THE MARY K. STEWART SCHOLARSHIP

SPRING 2011 AWARD: $500.00 per year

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA: Special Education Block students or graduate students in the Master's Degree in Special Education Program. Selection is based on GPA.

   2. THE FATHER LACHOWSKY SCHOLARSHIP

Spring 2011 AWARD: $1000 ($500 per semester)

SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA: Special Education Block students or graduate students in the Master's Degree in Special Education Program.  Selection is based on academic performance and need.

    3.  Angie Passmore-Howard Memorial Scholarship

SPRING 2011 AWARD:  $500.00 per semester
