University Challenge

Who May Attend?

Super challenging students may attend. Super challenging students include all students entering fourth and fifth grade who share an interest in science-based topics. The UCA Challenge summer program is designed to offer students an exciting curriculum not offered in many schools. We believe all students want to be challenged. UCA is ready to meet such an ambitious challenge with hands-on activities guaranteed to promote curiosity and fun.

General Information

Students are encouraged to bring a backpack for their lunch and drinks. Class materials will be provided. Students will be treated to lunch on Wednesday at the university’s Christian Cafeteria. A map of the university will be included in the registration packet to illustrate the drop-off and pick-up point for students.

Faculty

Each of the UCA Challenge 2006 faculty members have experience working with students in this age group and a high degree of knowledge in their given subject areas. It is the goal of each faculty member to make this an enjoyable learning experience. UCA Challenge 2006 is directed by Ms. Lisa Herrington and Dr. Mark Cooper.
