The M. A. Program in English at UCA

The Department of English at UCA offers the Master of Arts degree.

The program of study requires thirty (30) hours of coursework, including ENGL 5360 (History and Structure of the English Language), ENGL 5366 (Literary Theory and Criticism), and ENGL 6393 (Research Methods in English). The Certificate in Diverse Literatures Program at UCA

The Department of English at UCA offers the Certificate of Diverse Literatures program.

The program of study requires fifteen (15) hours of coursework, including ENGL 6323 (Literature of the Americas for Teachers), ENGL 6325 (Asian/Asian American Literature for Teachers), and ENGL 6365 (Diverse Literatures Seminar).  The program is designed to help secondary-school teachers enhance the diversity of their curricula.
