Faculty may submit their concerns to any senator at any time in writing.  The senator will then bring that concern to the Senate, and the executive committee will decide how to address that concern.  Possible actions include submitting the concern to one of the university committees, to the appropriate person on campus who can address it, or to one of the senate subcommittees for investigation. 

Some concerns, however, are problematic.  We often receive the same concern within the same year or two, and faculty do not realize it has already been addressed.  Or we find that some concerns are not anything the Faculty Senate has any power to act upon.  This page is designed to be the place where faculty can find out what issues have been addressed, what issues are in progress and what actions have been taken in response to concerns.
