UCA Council of the National Pan-Hellenci Council

Greek Unity

NPHC serves as the coordinating agent, unifying body, and policy implementing body for affiliate organizations; NPHC organizations maintain their autonomy in the establishment of policies and procedure concerning their respective organization. The NPHC sets guidelines in areas of mutual interest and coordinates joint activities. 

The UCA Council meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at x-period in the Student Center, room 214.  The meetings are open to NPHC members only.  However, if you have a concern, you may contact one of the 2009-2010 executive board members listed below.

Council Objectives:

1. To provide the governing body for the nine national black Greek-lettered organizations.

2. To create a stronger bond of unity among the members of the council

3. To create and maintain high standards of academic excellence, leadership ability and good moral character in council fraternities and sororities

4. To address, coordinate and develop action strategies on matters of mutual concern to the affiliate organizations.

5. To serve as a conduit for such plans as may be developed

6. To make recommendations to member organizations on matters of interest and purpose to the university and community.

7. To work in conjunction with the other student organizations with a special interest affecting the success of the black student body and other Greek related issues.

8. To perform community service for the university as well as surrounding communities
