Resident Hall Assistant Training and Technical Assistance

• Resident Assistants may seek training from our office. Training includes awareness of symptoms of drug and alcohol abuse as well as proper procedures once alcohol or drugs have been detected in the residence halls.

• With two weeks notice a trained staff member from our office can give a presentation over the health topic of your choice.    Topics include:
  • Stress Management
  • Nutrition
  • STI Prevention
  • Sexual/Relationship Health
  • Safer Sex
  • Nutrition
  • Alcohol and Other Drugs
  • Tobacco
  • Body Image
  • Sexual Abuse/Assault   
  • Other Programs Available Upon Request

Our office supports the Recognized Student Organization 80 PROOF:

80 PROOF is a Peer Education Group designed to help reduce the negative consequences of alcohol abuse by promoting responsible attitudes and behaviors regarding alcohol consumption.
