Landscape Supervisor II- Physical Plant- $24,614
The University of Central Arkansas Physical Plant is accepting applications for a Landscape Supervisor II position.
Minimum qualifications include: a Arkansas Driver’s License, formal education equivalent of a high school diploma, plus two years of specialized training in landscaping, arbor, or turf care, or related field, plus four years of experience in landscaping, grounds maintenance, arbor, or turf care, Irrigation, and chemical application, including one year in a supervisory capacity. You must have a chemical application license or have the ability to obtain one in the first year of work. Works under supervision and is responsible for planning, organizing and directing landscaping and grounds maintenance activities. Ability to write and receive work orders concerning landscaping; determine the type of trees and greenery to be used and the appropriate methods of planting. Organize planting and replanting, coordinate groundskeeping activities such as moving, pruning, tree trimming, and litter and snow removal. Must be able to compile information and put in report form, design greenery beds and borders, oversee irrigation systems and oversee and inspect outside contract work.
