JOB DESCRIPTION: The Computer Science Department at the University of Central Arkansas invites applications to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant professor level to start in the Fall 2012.  Applicants should have a PhD degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related discipline.  All fields will be considered, however, applicants who complement current department strengths, such as with mobile and embedded systems, cloud computing, big data management solutions, or web technologies and languages, are encouraged to apply.  A strong commitment to excellence in teaching and research involving students is expected.
