The Department of Economics invites applications for an opening at the assistant professor level. The starting date is August 15, 2010.  Successful applicants will teach principles courses in addition to upper division economics courses to support the BBA, BA and BS in economics.  Responsibilities include teaching, research leading to publications in refereed journals, service and advising.

Economics is located within the department of Economics, Finance, Insurance and Risk Management (EFIRM) in UCA’s College of Business, which is accredited by AACSB International, and offers undergraduate degrees, as well as a MBA.  UCA has a rapidly growing community of more than 50,000.  Conway is located in the Little Rock metropolitan area.
