Check-out Policies
You may checkout library materials if you are:
- a currently enrolled student;
- a faculty member;
- a staff member;
- a current member of the Friends of Torreyson Library;
- a current member of the Alumni Association;
- have been approved for circulation privileges by the Circulation Department.
All borrowers must present one of the following forms of valid and current identification:
- UCA photo ID;
- Friends of Torreyson Library ID;
- Alumni Association ID;
- ARKLink ID.

Loan Periods
Undergraduate students: Loan period of 28 days for up to twenty five (25) books.
Graduate Students: Loan period of 28 days; no limit on the number of books.
Full-time Faculty: Loan period is 112 days (approximately four months); no limit on the number of books.
Part-time faculty: Loan period is either 112 (approximately four months) days or the end of the current semester, whichever comes first; no limit on the number of books.
Retired Faculty/Staff: Loan period of 28 days for up to six (6) books.
Friends of the Library, Alumni Association Members and ARKLink members: Loan period of 28 days for up to three (3) books.
All patrons may renew books at the Circulation Desk, by phone, or by logging in to your Library Account. Books that are on hold for other patrons are not renewable.

Fines
Daily overdue fines: Not charged up to eight (8) weeks overdue.
Eight weeks overdue: Borrowers will be billed for the replacement cost of the item, as determined by the Library, plus a non-refundable $20 processing fee. Replacement items will not be accepted in lieu of payment.
Damaged materials: Charges for damaged materials will vary according to the extent of the damage.
Torreyson Library reserves the right to revoke Library privileges, block transcripts, and block course registration if materials are not returned on time.
